Wild Soul Quest
Quest dates: June 15–23, 2019
Guided by Anne Hayden and Sheila Belanger
The Wild Soul Quest is for those who have engaged in a significant amount of life healing processes, have a deep inclination toward soul discovery, want to offer their soul gift in service to the world in these challenging times, and are now ready to partner with the wildness of their own nature, in the wildest of natural landscapes, to activate their soul blueprint. Best preparation for this Quest is previous experience with soulcraft™ programs (either with Northwest Soulquest or Animas Valley Institute) or equivalent experience.
In these tumultuous times, the world needs mature individuals willing to embody their authentic soul essence. To enact a Soul Quest in wild lands deepens your relationship with your true nature, reveals your soul niche, and activates the unique gifts that only you can bring to the world.
This journey is a contemporary enactment of the cross-cultural, ceremonial fast in a wild place, and includes three days and nights of solitude and fasting. We honor and respect the traditions of indigenous cultures, and do not appropriate their ceremonies. We take questers to canyon lands in Eastern Washington where ponderosa pine, owl, sagebrush, and other wild beings offer fierce mentorship.
Your guides will be Anne and Sheila, who each have more than twenty years experience guiding Soul Quests and other Soulcraft processes.
Schedule: The Soul Quest begins on Saturday morning with travel to the Quest site, and ends 9 days later on Sunday evening. (Update: We have decided not to hold a preparation retreat in late April, but will support participants in their individual preparation.)
Preparation: To receive additional benefit from a Quest, we recommend that you dedicate intentional time in the months before the quest for preparation. When your registration has been approved, we will send you an extensive handbook with suggestions for preparing, and are also available for personal mentorships in preparation for the Quest.
Cost: Sliding scale fee: $800 – $1600 (includes camping fees, all meals, and tuition). (Travel expenses and any trailhead parking fees or permits are not included.) We intentionally offer a ridiculously wide sliding scale to encourage those who have financial means to help offset the need of those who don’t. We ask you to pay at the rate that is possible for you, and we don’t ask for documentation. It is important that this journey is available for all who long for it. Creative payment plans are available. Contact us for details.
Registration: Enrollment is by application. To download an application, click here. After we receive your application, we will schedule a conversation to mutually discern whether this Wild Soul Quest is a match for you.
Once your application has been approved, send a non-refundable deposit of $450 to hold your space. Two options to pay:
- Mail a check, payable to Northwest Soulquest, to: PO Box 181 • Clinton, WA 98236
- Pay via PayPal using our email address as the payee: email@example.com. Please add 3% handling fee.
