Wild Soul Quest
Quest dates: June 15–23, 2019
Preparation Retreat Dates: April 26–28, 2019
Guided by Anne Hayden and Sheila Belanger
The Wild Soul Quest is for those who have engaged in a significant amount of life healing processes, have a deep inclination toward soul discovery, want to offer their soul gift in service to the world in these challenging times, and are now ready to partner with the wildness of their own nature, in the wildest of natural landscapes, to activate their soul blueprint.
In these tumultuous times, the world needs mature individuals willing to embody their authentic soul essence. To enact a Soul Quest in wild lands deepens your relationship with your true nature, reveals your soul niche, and activates the unique gifts that only you can bring to the world.
This journey is a contemporary enactment of the cross-cultural vision quest and includes three days and nights of solitude and fasting. We honor and respect the traditions of indigenous cultures, and do not appropriate their ceremonies.
We quest in canyon lands of Eastern Washington where ponderosa pine, owl, sagebrush , and other wild beings offer fierce mentorship. The weekend Preparation Camping Retreat, held on South Whidbey Island, weaves together the community of questers and offers support for your individual preparation (physically, emotionally and spiritually) in the months before the journey.
Your guides will be Anne and Sheila, who each have more than twenty years experience guiding Soul Quests and other Soulcraft processes.
Schedule: We ask for a strong commitment to participate in both the preparation retreat and Soul Quest. The weekend preparation retreat for the Quest begins on Friday at 5 pm and ends on Sunday at 4 pm. The Soul Quest begins on Saturday morning and ends 9 days later on Sunday evening.
Preparation: To receive additional benefit from a Quest, we recommend that you immerse in some experiential programs through NWSQ or Animas Valley Institute. If you haven’t yet had a chance to meet Soulcraft, we offer an intense introduction to Soulcraft and Process Work practices that would be excellent preparation: Follow Your Longing. In lieu of a full retreat, we offer mentorships that can help you prepare.
Cost: Sliding scale fee: $1295 – $1595 (includes camping fees, all meals, and tuition). (Travel expenses and any trailhead parking fees are not included.) Payment plans and some partial scholarships are available. Contact us for details.
Registration: Enrollment is by application. After we receive your application, we will schedule a conversation to mutually discern whether this Wild Soul Quest is a match for you.
